Job summary

XP Power is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Officer to develop and manage comprehensive EHS programs at our Seri Iskandar site. You will lead inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and training to protect employees and the environment.

The role requires strong communication, documentation, and data analysis skills, with a focus on continuous safety improvements and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing EHS programs and compliance with regs.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and related standards.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and investigations.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training.
• Strong documentation and data interpretation skills.
• Proficient in using EHS software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain EHS programs and policies.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and audits.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS records and regulatory documentation.
• Provide safety training and onboarding to staff.
• Coordinate audits and monitor compliance status.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and improvements.
• Communicate with management and stakeholders on EHS matters.
• Stay updated on Malaysian safety regulations and adapt programs.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate safety into operations.
