Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Malaysia is seeking a student pursuing a degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related fields to support EH&S data entry and safety programs. You will assist in inspections, follow-up actions, and incident reporting while promoting best practices and training initiatives.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, teamwork, and proficient use of MS Office in a onsite/hybrid setting as part of RTX Collins Aerospace operations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Data Entry and Management: Enter and update EH&S data into the EHS SMART system accurately and timely.
• Inspection Coordination and Execution: Assist in planning and scheduling EH&S inspections. Document inspection findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Follow-Up Actions: Track the closure of follow-up actions from inspections and audits; coordinate with relevant departments.
• Concern Reporting and Management: Manage the concern reporting system, investigate concerns and promote safety culture.
• Best Management Practices: Research and implement industry best practices for EH&S; assist in policies and training.
