FundaPlay Steps SDN BHD is seeking an Early Intervention Teacher / Special Education Teacher to support learning, communication, and social development through play-based activities.

You will collaborate with educators and speech-language therapists to help children build practical skills, monitor progress, and communicate with families. A Diploma or degree in related fields is required, with a focus on learning and teamwork.

• Diploma or degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology or related field.
• Experience in special education or early intervention is preferred.
• Open to learning and receiving guidance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience facilitating children’s group activities is an advantage.
• Professional development with access to workshops or certifications.

Early Intervention Teacher /Special Education Teacher

FundaPlay Steps is specialising in Social Communication Playgroups, Early Learning and Sensory Playgroup programs. We are looking for a caring and motivated teacher to support children’s learning, communication and social development through play-based activities. You will work alongside educators and speech-language therapists to help children build skills they can use in everyday life.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support daily playgroup activities

Support children's participation, interaction, and behavior during group activities

Assist in planning and preparing teaching materials, visual supports, and play activities

Work closely with therapists and team members to support children's developmental goals

Participate in discussions, meetings, and team collaboration to improve program quality

Prepare feedback reports and maintain effective communication with parents to support children's progress

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology or a related field.

Relevant experience in special education or early intervention is preferred.

Open to learning and receiving guidance

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience facilitating children’s group activities is an advantage.
