Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Education (Physics), Science Education, or related discipline.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach Physics effectively at primary/secondary level.
• Experience teaching Cambridge, IGCSE, A-Level or other international Physics curricula a plus.
• Previous teaching experience in an international, private, or secondary school preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Enthusiastic, patient and committed to student development.
• Strong lesson planning, classroom management, assessment and organisational skills.
• Ability to explain complex Physics concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Ability to conduct and supervise Physics experiments with proper lab safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Physics lessons.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, practical activities, and lab experiments.
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies and technologies for varied learning styles.
• Cover mechanics, forces and motion, energy, electricity, waves, and thermal physics.
• Conduct experiments and lab activities to develop scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests and observations.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve goals.
• Maintain a positive, organised classroom environment and promote peak learning.
• Offer additional academic support and exam preparation guidance.
• Keep accurate records of lessons, assessments and student progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents about progress and learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student development.
• Ensure lab safety procedures are followed at all times.
