Job summary

Epsom College Malaysia seeks a passionate Physics Teacher to join the four-member Physics Department. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across KS3, IGCSE and A-Level and inspiring students in a well-resourced school.

The ideal candidate will hold a Physics degree, preferably with PGCE or equivalent, and have experience in an international or British-curriculum setting. Housing allowance and relocation support are offered.

Epsom College in Malaysia seeks to appoint a Physics Teacher for January 2027 (Term 2).

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Physics Teacher to join our Physics Department of four teachers. The Department is served by two technicians and is well-resourced to offer a plethora of practical opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Physics and must have the ability to inspire students at Key Stage 3 Science, Edexcel IGCSE, and Edexcel International A-Level. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, supporting students to reach their full potential, and contributing to the wider academic and co-curricular life of the College.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students across a range of age groups and abilities according to the scheme of learning and course timelines.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.
• Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level Physics examinations, ensuring they achieve their best possible results.
• Engage with students' academic progress, providing regular feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
• Participate in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and school-wide activities.
• Support and contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physics is required; a postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 Science, IGCSE, and A-Level in an international school or British curriculum school.
• A genuine passion for Physics and a commitment to student-centered learning.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
