Job summary

Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar is seeking a Duty Manager to lead guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations with warmth and professionalism, at a 220-room property. You will drive service standards, mentor staff, and act as the first point of contact for emergencies.

The role requires 2 years front desk/guest service leadership, a Diploma or equivalent, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years front desk/guest service leader experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills.
• Long periods of standing and occasional heavy lifting.
• Working knowledge of hotel property management systems beneficial.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations.
• Prioritise workload and ensure the team delivers authentic experiences.
• Develop the team’s skills to drive results for hotel performance.
• Have authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues.
• Be first point of contact for any critical emergency situations.
