Technical Drawing Creation

• Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics based on specifications, sketches, and design inputs provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
• Utilize computer‑aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit, to generate 2D and 3D drawings, models, and assemblies.
• Ensure that all drawings and documents produced adhere to drafting standards, industry codes, and project requirements, maintaining accuracy and completeness.

Drafting Support

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to review and interpret design concepts, requirements, and technical specifications.
• Assist in refining design concepts, layouts, and configurations through iterative drafting and revision processes.
• Incorporate feedback, revisions, and design changes into drawings and documentation, while maintaining version control and revision history as required.

Blueprint Interpretation

• Analyze architectural, mechanical, electrical, or structural blueprints, drawings, and plans to extract pertinent information for drafting purposes.
• Extract dimensions, measurements, and specifications from blueprints and translate them into detailed drawings, diagrams, or models using CAD software.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies, conflicts, or inconsistencies between design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Quality Assurance and Review

• Conduct quality checks and reviews on drafted drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with drafting standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and annotations on drawings, identifying and rectifying any errors, omissions, or inconsistencies as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to address design issues, clarify requirements, and enhance the accuracy and completeness of drawings.

Documentation and Documentation Management

• Maintain organized documentation and records of drawings, revisions, and design changes, adhering to document control procedures and filing systems.
• Create and distribute drawing packages, documentation sets, and construction drawings to project stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Support the preparation of technical specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and other documentation relevant to drafting and design activities.

Collaboration and Communication

• Effectively communicate with team members, project stakeholders, and clients to comprehend requirements, clarify instructions, and coordinate drafting activities.
• Take part in project meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions to offer input, share progress updates, and tackle drafting‑related issues.
