Job summary

OWH Consulting Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya, Selangor, is seeking a Civil & Structure Draftsperson to join our growing team on a full-time basis. You will design and develop civil and structural drawings, using CAD to produce plans, sections, elevations and construction details for infra and structures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CAD; familiar with building processes and Civil/Structure drawings.
• Minimum 4 years in Civil & Structure engineering consultancy with AutoCAD and other drafting tools.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills; good understanding of construction methods and standards.
• Able to work collaboratively with engineers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings for infra and structures.

About the role
OWH Consulting Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Civil & Structure Draftsperson to join our growing team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the design and development of civil and structural engineering projects.

If you have hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software, familiar with building processes knowledge of how to interpretation of Civil & Structure drawing we would like to meet you.

What you'll be doing

Produce drawings using computer assisted drafting system (CAD) for both infra and structures

Use CAD software to produce high-quality design documentation, including plans, sections, elevations and construction details

Collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and translate them into accurate and well-documented drawings

Support the engineering team in the development of project deliverables and ensure drawings meet all relevant standards and regulations

Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and drawing templates

Responsible & maintain an organised filling drawing system, storage and manage & record drawings (hardcopy/softcopy) received for project drawings and documentation involved

Capable of completing tasks within the given time frame

What we’re looking for

Preferably possess a Technical Certificate/ Diploma, Advanced Education

Minimum 4 years working experience in Civil & Structure Engineering Consultancy with good AutoCAD, and other drafting design software

Strong technical drawing and detailing skills and good understanding of construction materials, methods and industry standards

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders
