Job summary

One Gasmaster Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a civil/mechanical drafter to support design development across gas detection and related equipment. The role focuses on translating concepts into precise drawings for production and regulatory compliance.

You will produce sketches, drawings, and bills of materials, verify drawings against codes, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver accurate documentation on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience as a Drafter or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Experience in preparing design documentation, reports, and material lists.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD) and related design tools.

Job description

Desired qualifications and experience:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Drafter or in a similar role (fresh graduates with strong CAD skills may be considered).

Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.

Experience in preparing design documentation, reports, and material lists.

Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD )and other relevant design tools.

Practical understanding of manufacturing and construction processes will be an added advantage.
