Job summary

Healthway Medical Group in Malaysia seeks a physician to oversee Executive Health Screening services, providing medical consultations, reviewing histories, and guiding investigations.

You will act as PIC, ensure compliance with MMC and MOH guidelines, coordinate coverage with locum doctors, and manage clinic inventory.

The role includes teleconsultations during low patient load and contributing to CME sessions; other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).

Responsibilities

• Provide medical consultations and clinical assessments for Executive Health Screening participants.
• Review medical histories and advise on appropriate screening investigations.
• Support coordination and delivery of health screening services with protocol adherence.
• Write medical reports for patients attended by locum doctors or yourself.
• Act as PIC of the clinic and oversee clinical operations and management.
• Ensure compliance with KKM regulations, guidelines, and licensing requirements.
• Coordinate clinic session coverage with locum doctors.
• Manage clinic inventory, drugs, vaccines, supplies, and expiry monitoring.
• Provide teleconsultation services during working hours without compromising quality.
• Lead or collaborate on cross-functional projects and CME sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Job description

Provide medical consultations and clinical assessments for Executive Health Screening participants, including reviewing medical histories, assessing health risks and advising on appropriate screening investigations where necessary.

Support the coordination and delivery of health screening services, ensuring adherence to established clinical protocols, proper documentation, patient safety and quality standards.

Writing medical reports for patients attended to by locum doctors and/or yourself.

Act as the Person-in-Charge (PIC) of the clinic and assume responsibility for the overall clinical operations and management of the clinic in accordance with applicable Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) regulations, guidelines and licensing requirements.

Ensure that the clinic, doctors and clinical staff comply with all relevant acts, rules, regulations, directives and guidelines issued by KKM and other relevant authorities. Supporting the coordination and arrangements of clinic session coverage to ensure clinic sessions are covered by locum doctors.

Manage clinic inventory, including drugs, vaccines, medical supplies and consumables, and ensure proper storage, stock monitoring and utilisation before expiry.

Provide teleconsultation services as part of your regular duties during working hours, particularly during periods of low patient load in the clinic. Such teleconsultation services shall be provided without compromising the service quality in the clinic.

Participate,lead or collaborate with cross functional teams to develop or implement new projects or initiatives by the Company.

To keepour doctors current with changes in medicine, the Company regularly organises Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions every year. You are encouraged to attend the sessions.

Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
