Job summary

Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (Retail) is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to create engaging product displays in stores across Malaysia, ensuring POP materials are current and on-theme with promotions.

You will ensure accurate pricing, placement, and compliance with brand guidelines while maintaining an appealing store environment to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Certificate or diploma in Graphic Design, Art & Design, or Visual Merchandising is an advantage.
• Good hand lettering, artistic, and creative display skills.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of graphic design software is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in retail display or merchandising is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all POP cards two days before each sales promotion at every branch.
• Conduct daily VMD checklist inspections for POP card sizes, placement, and pricing.
• Ensure displays follow approved themes, layouts, and company standards.
• Obtain approvals for promotional/festive decorations from Head Office A&P and branch management.
• Maintain neat, attractive product displays according to promotions and themes.
• Monitor and maintain display materials in good condition.
• Display notices, posters, and flyers on designated bulletin boards only.
• Maintain POP inventory and stock of price cards, POS fittings, and posters.
• Ensure POP cards are clear, readable and attractive to customers.

Job description

Prepare all POP (Point of Purchase) cards at least two days before each sales promotion at every branch.

Conduct daily VMD checklist inspections to ensure correct POP card sizes, placement, product categories, descriptions, and pricing.

Ensure all product displays follow the approved themes, layouts, and company standards.

Obtain approval from Head Office A&P and branch management for all promotional and festive decorations.

Maintain neat, attractive, and well-organised product displays according to current promotions, themes, and festive seasons.

Monitor and maintain all display and decorative materials in good condition.

Ensure all notices, posters, and flyers are displayed on designated bulletin boards only.

Maintain POP inventory, including price cards, POS fittings, and posters, to ensure sufficient stock.

Ensure POP cards are clear, accurate, readable, and attractive to customers to support sales growth.

Maintain an appealing store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience and encourage repeat visits.
