Job summary

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Director of Events Planning to lead the Events Planning team and oversee both Catering Sales and Convention Services, delivering exceptional event experiences in a luxury setting.

The role reports to Sales & Marketing and requires strong leadership, collaboration across departments, and a commitment to Hyatt's understated luxury and bespoke hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be Malaysian citizen or PR due to work permit restrictions.
• University degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or Event Management preferred.
• Experience in leadership with a luxury international hotel brand required; extensive event planning and sales experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Events Planning team to deliver exceptional event experiences.
• Oversee Catering Sales and Convention Services to ensure seamless planning and execution.
• Drive operational excellence in line with Hyatt brand standards.
