Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is expanding its INFRA team in Southeast Asia and seeks a Director to lead complex infrastructure and capital projects across the region. You will manage client assignments, mentor junior staff, and drive business development with senior leadership support.

You will deliver high-quality advisory services, engage with sponsors, lenders, and government bodies, and ensure timely, value-driven outcomes for both public and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental sciences, business, or a related field.
• MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience with a focus on energy and/or data centres.
• Experience in strategy development, techno-economic modeling, due diligence, energy transition planning, and decarbonization strategies.
• Strong network with industry players, government agencies, banks, and lenders in SEA region.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Lead energy and infrastructure projects through their lifecycle from inception to completion.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
• Lead project workstreams, manage staff, deadlines, and budgets.
• Conduct meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss project matters.
• Engage in business development activities to identify new opportunities.
• Develop client relationships and expand the regional client base.
• Drive project analyses and deliver actionable plans.
