Job summary

TFW Management Services Sdn. Bhd. seeks a capable tax support professional to assist Partners and Managers in servicing clients’ income tax needs.

The role involves preparing, reviewing, and e-filing tax returns, and coordinating information flows and research requirements. You will help deliver income tax advisory support for client business transactions, manage IRAS queries/audits, and collaborate with global colleagues on tax projects while supporting marketing efforts and collateral

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or other business-related fields.
• Ability and desire to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to details.
• Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support the Partner and Manager teams in servicing clients in relation to their income tax needs.

• Assist clients in seeking income tax rulings/clarifications from IRAS.
• Work with colleagues internally and across the globe in relation to proposals and delivering on tax projects.

Job Description

Support the Partner and Manager teams in servicing clients in relation to their income tax needs. Our income tax services include:

• Assist clients with the preparation, review and e-filing of their income tax returns (and organising the necessary information request flows, documentation and research needs)
• Assist in fulfilment of clients’ income tax advisory needs in relation to their business transactions (e.g., new business arrangements, cross-border transactions)
• Assist clients in managing IRAS queries/audits.
• Assist clients in seeking income tax rulings/clarifications from IRAS.
• Work with colleagues internally and across the globe in relation to proposals and delivering on tax projects.
• Provide support in relation to marketing activities such as seminars, webcasts and business development collaterals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or other business-related fields
• Ability and desire to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to details
• Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
• Relevant internship experience in audit, tax or advisory will be considered an advantage.
