Job summary

Flex seeks a Purchasing Manager Direct at Flex PTP to oversee procurement of direct materials, parts, components and equipment. You will lead a team of buyers and expeditors, align procurement with delivery schedules, and ensure quality and cost targets are met.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, you will drive supplier performance, implement inventory strategies including Vendor Managed Inventory, review purchase orders, and collaborate with internal teams to keep material availability aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 6–8 years of related experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing policies and supplier management.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of direct materials, parts and equipment.
• Lead and guide buyers and expeditors to meet goals.
• Ensure on-time delivery and supplier performance.
• Approve purchase orders and change notices.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage supplier relations.
