Job summary

ZHENGXI TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a diligent QC Engineer to oversee quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. You will ensure that all products meet engineering specifications and quality standards and work closely with Production and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities include incoming, in-process, and final inspections of laser-cut, bent, welded, machined, and assembled parts; verifying dimensions against drawings; and recording QC data.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience in QC/QA within manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or engineering environments is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, machining, and sheet-metal processes is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (writing, reading, and communication) is a plus due to dealings with clients from China.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections for manufactured components and assemblies.
• Inspect fabricated parts including laser-cut, bending, welding, machining, and assembly components.
• Verify dimensions, specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and measuring tapes.
• Check welding quality, surface condition, material condition, and workmanship.
• Identify and record non-conforming products; coordinate corrective actions with the Production Department.
• Prepare and maintain QC inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
• Ensure products comply with approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
