Job summary

Pavilion Wee Bullion is seeking a video producer in Malaysia to create engaging short-form videos. You will shoot with basic lighting and audio, and edit using CapCut and an industry-standard NLE. A strong showreel and a linkable portfolio are required.

The role combines production and on-camera duties, with travel to shoot locations as needed. You should be fast, independent, and receptive to feedback, ready to work in a dynamic studio environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years producing short-form video with a strong showreel.
• Portfolio or reel required with links when applying.
• Solid editing skills in CapCut and at least one professional NLE.
• Understand short-form specifically: the first 3 seconds, retention, pacing, native platform feel.
• Comfortable and natural on camera.
• Basic camera, lighting and audio know-how; can troubleshoot on a shoot without panicking.
• Can work fast and independently, and take feedback withoutego.
• Valid driving licence and willing to travel to shoot locations.
• state coverage area if travelling is required.

Responsibilities

• Concept and script short-form videos: hooks, story beats, punchlines, CTAs.
• Shoot on phone / mirrorless / DSLR with basic lighting and audio setup.
• Edit in CapCut / Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci: cuts, captions, sound design, motion text, colour.
• Produce publish-ready short videos per week/month across formats: skits, explainers, UGC, testimonials.
• Manage shoot logistics: talent, props, locations, permissions, schedule.
• Repurpose long content into multiple short formats.
• Maintain an organized asset library—raw footage, B-roll, templates, brand assets.
• Review performance with the Social Media Executive and iterate based on retention.
• OnCamera: act, host or narrate content as required.
• Play recurring characters in ongoing series formats.
• Self-shoot and self-direct when working solo.
