Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Dietetics graduate with at least 1 year in food and beverages operations to supervise hospital kitchen staff and ensure service quality.

You will participate in menu planning, budgeting, manpower planning, and uphold food safety standards including HALAL and ISO 22000, while training staff and coordinating across departments. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to work across shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Dietetics or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in food & beverages operations; fresh graduates accepted.
• Familiarity with hospital kitchen operations and healthcare food service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinates and coordinate activities in the hospital kitchen.
• Plan rosters, recruit manpower, and manage staff performance (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and dietary standards.
• Contribute to menu planning and quality assurance programs (HALAL, ISO 22000).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible in monitoring overall in patient meal services

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible to supervise all subordinates and coordinate their activities and administered outlet to provide efficient service Involves in budget, hiring of manpower and other resources planning Plan roster and work assignment of staff Evaluates and supervise Dietary staff on their performance / KPI Involves in menu planning and supervised staff compliance towards the standard food preparation Ensure food prepared in accordance to food safety guidelines Involves in developing and implementation of services policy and procedures, quality assurance activities such as Patient Satisfactory Questionnaires, HALAL, ISO 22000, food sampling and etc Participate in conferences/ internal and external courses; conduct training to staff To participate actively in any other new services that is introduced by the company Perform any others duties as and when required by the management

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education: Bachelor Degree in Dietetics Knowledge and Experiences: At least 1 year of experience in food and beverages operation. Fresh graduates are accepted Familiarity with operation in hospital kitchen Experience in food and beverages industry will be an extra advantage Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization
