Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Die Attach/Layer Attach Process Development Staff Engineer to drive NPI and deliver robust process solutions for successful product industrialization.

The role focuses on equipment dual sourcing, cost optimization, and solving chronic issues with data-driven engineering. You will contribute to cross-functional problem solving and continuously expand technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Physics or equivalent.
• 2+ years in semiconductor Die Attach/Layer Attach process engineering.
• Die Attach/Layer Attach knowledge and hands-on skill in semiconductor or LED manufacturing.
• Experience in Process development or New Product Introduction is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in FOL related processes (sawing, die attach, wire bond).
• Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving abilities; Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and JMP

Responsibilities

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and deliver process/equipment development solutions that meet quality, cost and timeline targets.
• Drive equipment dual sourcing and cost optimization; establish qualified second-source suppliers.
• Lead or contribute to resolution of manufacturing/process challenges with data-driven engineering solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in cross-functional problem solving and yield improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain technical competency and share knowledge through internal/external activities.
