Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific is seeking a Developer to contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications that support business and customer needs. You will work with experienced team members in an Agile environment, applying modern software practices across .NET, cloud, DevOps, and AI-assisted development to build scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong foundation in RESTful APIs and OOP.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and Agile practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications to meet requirements.
• Contribute to Agile delivery and collaborate with experienced team members.
• Estimate effort in consultation with development Leads.
• Report to the Lead Architect and follow coding standards.
• Explore AI-assisted development tools and integrate AI capabilities when appropriate.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Developer, you will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications that support business and customer needs. You will work with experienced team members, participate in Agile delivery, and build practical experience in .NET, cloud, DevOps, and AI-assisted development.

What We’re Looking For

• To develop and maintain software programs accordance to the requirements and specifications within established and defined quality and performance standards within agreed timelines.
• You will be participating in initiatives that improve processes that contribute to performance effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Participating in consultation with development Leads in estimating effort for work assigned.
• You may also perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• You will be reporting to the Lead Architect
• Familiar with modern software development tools, cloud technologies, and Generative AI concepts, including AI assisted development tools and the integration of AI capabilities into applications, will be beneficial.

More About You

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of hands‑on experience with C# and .NET, gained through working experience.
• Strong foundation of RESTful APIs, OOP, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, Microsoft Azure, and cloud-native development.
• Exposure to Entity Framework Core, SOLID principles, design patterns, testing, Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps is beneficial.
• Awareness of Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems and debugging skills, with the ability to evaluate solutions and translate our requirements into practical technical outcomes.
• Interest in modern software development practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud native development.

• Hybrid work arrangement: You will divide your time between working remotely and working from the office. You will work from the office at least two days per week. You and your manager will agree on your office days, taking business and client needs into consideration.
