Job summary

RELIANCE MINING CONSULTANCY SDN BHD seeks a Design Mining Engineer (Quarry and Mining) to join our Mukah team, supporting mine planning, design, rehabilitation, and site operations to ensure safe, compliant execution for clients.

You will work with contractors and clients, monitor progress, and provide technical documentation and project support. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; travel to mining sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in MineScape, Surfer and Surpac.
• Willing to travel and work at mining sites.
• Fresh graduates welcome; mining/site experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mine planning, design and rehabilitation planning.
• Model and plan using mining software applications.
• Monitor operations to align with approved plans and client requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Provide technical input and project support.
• Attend site inspections and meetings with clients and contractors.
• Represent the company in project meetings when required.

Design Mining Engineer (Quarry and Mining)

We are looking for a Mining Engineer to join our team and support our mining consultancy and site operations at Mukah Office / Site Office.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and assist in mine planning, mine design and rehabilitation planning.

Carry out mine modelling and planning using relevant mining/software applications.

Monitor and oversee mining operations to ensure works are carried out according to approved plans and Client requirements.

Monitor contractors' mining activities, production progress and site performance.

Assist in overseeing site personnel, health and safety matters.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational/progress reports.

Provide mining engineering input, technical documentation and project support.

Provide technical advice on mining and coal extraction activities.

Attend site inspections, project discussions and meetings with Clients, contractors and relevant parties.

Represent the Company in project-related meetings when required.

Requirements:

Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant mining/site experience will be an advantage.

Must be proficient in mining and geological software such as MineScape, Surfer and Surpac.

Willing to travel and work at mining sites when required.

Good communication, technical reporting and teamwork skills.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with contractors and Clients
