Job summary

Sis Integrated Malaysia is seeking a structural engineer to execute post-tension and structural design, prepare calculations and shop drawings per customer specs and codes.

You will attend project meetings with consultants and contractors, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with the Drafting Department to deliver drawings on time. The role requires planning, monitoring, and ensuring productivity targets are met, with adherence to British Code and Eurocode.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-tension/structural design and preparation of calculations and shop drawings.
• Ability to participate in project meetings with consultants and contractors.
• Experience in site inspections and project monitoring.
• Familiar with British Code and Eurocode for structural design.
• Strong collaboration with drafting department to deliver drawings on schedule.
• Commitment to meet productivity and efficiency targets.

Responsibilities

• Execute post-tension/structural design and prepare calculations and shop drawings.

• Responsible for the execution of post-tension/structural design involving the preparation of calculations and shop drawings in accordance to customer's specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Attend project/technical meetings with consultants and contractors. To conduct site inspections.
• Involve in project planning, implementation and close monitoring of projects.
• Familiar and able to perform structural analysis and design with Code of Practice (British Code & Eurocode).
• Responsible to coordinate with Drafting Department for completion and delivery of drawings based on target timeline.
• Ensure all the Engineering task, production process control, productivity and efficiency target are meets as per the target set.
• Carry out duties as and when directed by the management.
