Job summary

Dynaciate Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced design engineer to develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation based on project requirements. You will coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and contractors, review specifications, ensure CAD drawings meet codes, and deliver accurate documentation on time for construction.

The role requires 2–5 years in design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit or Civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Diploma in Engineering may be considered with relevant design experience.
• Professional certification or registration with relevant engineering bodies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation based on project requirements.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and design requirements to ensure compliance with codes.
• Prepare and modify detailed engineering drawings using CAD/BIM software.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other disciplines to resolve design issues.
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and material specifications.
• Conduct engineering calculations and provide technical solutions as required.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective and suitable for construction.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies before and during construction.
• Support site teams by providing clarification on design and technical matters.
• Maintain records of drawings, revisions, calculations, and other design documentation.
• Ensure all design work complies with codes, standards, safety, and project specifications.

Job description

Develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation based on project requirements.

Skills & Experience

2–5 years of experience in engineering design, construction, consultancy, or a related field.

Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, Tekla, or other relevant design software is an advantage depending on discipline.

Good understanding of engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of relevant engineering standards and construction practices.

Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and design quality.

Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Site experience and knowledge of construction methods will be an added advantage.
