Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Deputy Head of Engineering to be based in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia for a 2-year contract. The role requires a Degree in an Engineering discipline and proven FPSO experience in oil and gas.

The successful candidate will lead engineering strategy, planning and delivery, manage resources, ensure quality and HSSEQ integration, and collaborate with project teams including procurement, construction, and engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering strategy, planning, and leadership across FPS projects.
• Oversee engineering activities to ensure quality delivery within project requirements.
• Support technical and engineering decision-making for management.
• Manage and optimise engineering resource utilisation in line with project needs.
• Review, evaluate, and select resources and consultants for engineering scopes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across project, procurement, construction, and engineering.
• Promote HSSEQ initiatives and integrate them into engineering culture.
