Job summary

Pride Global in Malaysia seeks a Vice President – Finance to act as the principal deputy to the CFO, providing strategic leadership across core Group finance functions and ensuring precise reporting and governance.

You will strengthen financial governance, oversee tax, treasury, insurance, shared services, and the Centre of Excellence, while guiding corporate exercises and finance transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CA(M), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Member of MIA or eligible to apply for MIA membership.

Responsibilities

• Deputise the CFO and lead the Group Finance functions across reporting, consolidation, treasury, taxation, insurance, shared services and CoE.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare Bursa Malaysia announcements, annual reports, statutory financial statements, and other regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, the Companies Act, and group policies.
• Maintain robust consolidation processes, accounting policies, judgements, disclosures, controls and audit readiness.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

CA(M), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent

Member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) or eligible
