Job summary

NAMS Dental Clinic in Kepong Medan Putra, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental team. You will work chairside with dentists, handle sterilisation, assist with patient care and reception tasks, and support clinic operations. Fresh graduates are welcome; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification; dental nursing certificates are an advantage.
• Fresh graduates welcome; training will be provided.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Friendly, responsible, punctual and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during dental procedures, including scaling, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, braces, implants and other dental treatments.
• Prepare dental instruments, materials and equipment before each procedure.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout treatment.
• Maintain efficient chairside workflow to support dentists.
• Clean, disinfect and sterilise dental instruments according to clinic SOPs.
• Maintain high standards of clinic hygiene and infection control.
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organised and ready for the next patient.
• Welcome patients and assist with registration and appointments.
• Answer patient enquiries professionally through WhatsApp, phone calls and walk-ins.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, reminders and follow-ups.

You will work chairside with dentists, manage sterilisation and infection control, assist with patient care and reception duties, support clinic operations, and contribute to marketing and team initiatives.

Key responsibilities
