Job summary

LIMA KOSONG SDN. BHD. is seeking a Demi Chef in a busy commercial kitchen in Petaling Jaya. The role focuses on basic food preparation, ingredient prep, and assisting senior chefs during service.

You will help with mise en place, maintain station cleanliness, ensure food safety and proper storage, and participate in kitchen clean-up and setup. Entry-level candidates are welcome, with some 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• No experience required / Entry-level culinary background.
• Minimum 1–2 years working experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Responsible for basic food preparation and mise en place.
• Maintain station hygiene and food safety.
• Stock rotation (FIFO) and section inventory.
