Job summary

Ansell is seeking a Specialist, Regional Demand Planner in Cyberjaya to oversee regional planning for the assigned portfolio. You will develop an 18-month demand, shipment, and inventory plan within the Integrated Business Planning process and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to meet KPI targets.

Key responsibilities include leading Demand Review, aligning regional plans, and optimizing inventory levels across the region while communicating risks and opportunities to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain, engineering or business-related field.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Demand / Supply Planning in a dynamic global matrix organisation.
  • End to End planning experience beyond Demand, S&OP, Inventory Planning, a regional / subregion scope is preferred.
  • Strong data analysis and problem solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Demand Review Sign-off, NPD and Opportunities meetings with Sales and Marketing by leveraging inputs including sales forecasts trend and phasing.
  • Provide demand input for rolling 18 months sales forecast plan and identify risks and opportunities to financial forecast.
  • Track month-over-month changes in demand and forecast accuracy to improve information quality.

Ansell is looking for a Specialist, Regional Demand Planner to join our team in Cyberjaya!

In this position you will be responsible for the oversight and management for Regional Planning for assigned portfolio for the assigned region. He/she/they is responsible for the creation of a volume/value rolling 18 months integrated set of forecasts consisting of an unconstrained demand plan, a shipment plan, a constrained revenue recognition plan, and resultant inventory plans.

This is a critical component of the Integrated Business Planning to ensure the demand and portfolio process steps are executed with excellence. Within IBP, this role translates regional demand into the global roll up to ensure aligned plans across total Ansell. Regional Planning Lead is responsible for communicating and tracking changes in region to those plans as part of the IBP process to achieve KPI targets including but not limited to OTIF, FA & Bias, inventory turns, and Excess & Obsolete Inventory.

What your role will be?

Drive the Demand Review Sign-off, NPD and Opportunities meetings with Sales and Marketing by leveraging inputs including but not limited to sales forecasts trend and phasing, sales opportunities, supply committed plan, and point of sale.

Provide demand input for rolling 18 months sales forecast plan, call out risk and opportunities to financial forecast.

Tracking demand and commitment plan month over month changes and forecast accuracy and striving for the improvement of information quality and flow with clear bridges and root causes.

Responsible for developing and executing intra-region allocations as required during period of constraints.

Optimize inventory levels in region to balance service and cost, and remain within budget targets.

Prevent E&O through active avoidance of new excess and depletion of E&O inventory.

Work with Global BU planners on Demand and Supply hand off reviews.

Request expedited supply through initiating fast track shipments by air or courier where needed to resolve back order situations while strictly managing cost at all times.

Provide product availability, lead-time enquiries and intra-region allocation management to commercial stakeholders.

Proactively communicate cross functional teams with information on shortages and availability including root cause, corrective action and recovery for product shortages and delays, including anticipation of future constrained situations through the CBO (customer back order) reporting, OTIF reporting (external & internal), STP (ship to promise) and other relevant reports.

Actively participates in the product rationalization process (phase-in/phase-out) from a Demand Planning and Regional execution perspective.

Actively contribute on regional IBP (Integrated Business Planning) processes.

Deal with various levels of commercial team and be the key point of contact for all other regional stakeholders - Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Warehouse & Logistics, Quality & Procurement, Master Data Management (MDM) and Finance, for issues within the S&OE (Sales, Operations and Execution) time frame via S&OE process.

Any other activities at the request of the Regional Planning Leadership.

What will you bring to Ansell?

Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain, engineering or business-related field.

Experience in Supply Chain, Demand / Supply Planning in a dynamic global matrix organisation.

Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
