Job summary

Flex is seeking a Delivery Business Systems Analyst based in Prai, Penang to analyze complex business problems and develop automated system solutions. You will support IT projects, write specifications, and maintain reliable information systems aligned with user needs.

Applicants should have a Systems/Industrial Engineering or CS background with 3–4 years in manufacturing, experience with databases and SCM, plus strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Functional knowledge, education background in systems or industrial engineering, computer science or related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the manufacturing industry is preferable.
• Experience with computerized databases, supply chain management and process guidelines.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems to propose automated system solutions.
• Write functional and technical specifications for developers.
• Detail system requirements for data, workflows and interfaces.
• Support IT projects and maintain reliable information systems.
• Supervise staff on methods and procedures for new assignments.
• Develop impromptu reports as requested by users.
• Verify newly developed processes and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Contribute to company objectives with proactive, creative actions.
