Business System Analyst (Shah Alam, Selangor)

What a typical day looks like

• Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, writing the specification, and working with Enterprise Architect as well as Solution Manager to meet customer and site needs
• Determining required improvements on the systems, supervising its correct implementation to meet customer’s requirements
• Assisting with the determination of methods and procedures on new assignments
• Writing functional and technical specifications for developers
• Using skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways
• Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Communicating work progress and all (work related) pertinent information in an accurate and timely manner to the Team Lead and Project Manager
• Researching complex business problems and proposing automated solutions to improve operations and processes efficiency
• Researching, designing and testing new systems and system enhancements in line with the deliverables of site business/customer's requirements
• Deployment of Flex standard applications

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Relevant educational background in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Minimum 5-7 years of working experience as an analyst working or deploying in a BaaN5/Infor LN or other ERP environment
• Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills; demonstrates advanced skills in functional/technical area
• Experience in ERP, logistics processes, supply chain in the manufacturing industry
• Able to work well on projects with tight timelines and manage a small team of key users
• Basic SQL and knowledge in business applications
• Good understanding of systems and functionalities in place
• Willing to travel at least 1-2 times a month
