Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled PCBA debug technician to join our manufacturing team. You will diagnose and repair complex PCBA assemblies, operate oscilloscopes, and support engineering with process improvements.

Responsibilities include training new build and service teams, developing testing guides, and maintaining equipment logs to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering required.
• 1–3 years experience in PCBA debugging, repair, or electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies at component level.
• Operates electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and conducts tests as required.
• Provides technical guidance to other technical personnel.
• Collaborates with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates.
• Presents training to new build and service assembler teams.
• Maintains and develops documentation like work instructions and batch records.
• Monitors productivity and equipment cycle rates.

• Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment at the component level.
• Operates electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and conducts special tests as required.
• Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel.
• Collaborates with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates.
• Presents training, when necessary, to the new build and service assembler teams.
• Contributes to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents.
• Helps monitor productivity of our equipment by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates.
• Assists with the installation, debug and validation of process equipment.
• Follows all safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Develops and maintains Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA.
• Provides training and PCBA debugging guidance to other debug technicians.

Qualification:

Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Minimum 1-3 years experience in PCBA debug, repair, or electronics manufacturing
