Job summary

CWS - Cornerstone Workforce Solutions is hiring a Data Center Technician in Johor Bahru for a fixed-term project contract through July 2027. You will be the hands-on onsite resource supporting a global technology company's data center project, coordinating with remote engineering teams.

The role focuses on hardware installation, server and network upkeep, daily checks, and incident support, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no rotating shifts. Local relocation to JB is a consideration.

• Provide some standby during big sales campaigns (like 11.11 and 12.12). This is not shift work.

We are hiring a Data Center Technician (Johor Bahru) for a global technology company, on a project contract until July 2027, with potential for extension depending on client project requirements. In this role, you will work inside one of the biggest data center projects in Johor and get real hands‑on site experience, acting as the "hands" on site for remote engineering teams.

Overview

The role is for a hands‑on individual with a background in data center, IT support, NOC or field service. You will install and support servers and network equipment, keep racks neat, and handle daily checks and incident support. The working hours are fixed (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm), with no rotating shifts.

Our client is a global technology company running a large data center project in Johor. You will work directly on this project alongside their engineering teams.
