Job summary

Altera is seeking an experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst to drive the implementation of an Enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting solutions in Penang, Malaysia. You will work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and reporting teams to translate requirements into robust data models, ETL processes, and timely reports that support strategic decisions.

You will lead data governance, ensure data quality, and promote effective data sharing across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in data warehousing, BI, or reporting.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, EDW concepts, and ETL experience.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik; cloud EDW a plus.
• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements for EDW and reporting.
• Analyze data sources, design data models, and implement reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security in the EDW.
• Lead testing, UAT support, and help automate reporting processes.
• Serve as liaison between business users and technical teams.
