Job summary

754 Altera Semiconductor Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst to lead EDW implementation and reporting initiatives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and reporting teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure seamless data integration into the EDW. The role emphasizes data modeling, ETL, governance, and automated reporting, requiring strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data warehousing, BI, or reporting.
• Domain knowledge in Finance, Supply Chain, or Sales/Marketing datawarehouse/reporting.
• Strong understanding of EDW concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong ERP knowledge and data governance awareness.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document requirements for EDW and reporting.
• Analyze existing reporting processes and data sources to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Develop functional and technical specifications from business requirements.
• Work with data engineering and ETL teams to design, build, and deploy EDW data models.
• Ensure data quality standards and data integrity in the EDW.
• Define data transformation rules for proper EDW data structuring.
• Ensure reports meet business needs and align with organizational goals.
• Aid in developing automated reporting processes to reduce manual effort.
• Serve as liaison between business users and technical teams; provide project status updates.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Perform data validation, integrity checks, and troubleshoot reports and visualizations.
• Lead testing phases for reporting implementations and assist in UAT.
