Job summary

Star Media Group Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a curious, data-driven Business Analyst to transform numbers into actionable insights. You will support commercial strategy, reader analytics, and digital optimization through dashboards and reports.

You will build dashboards in Google Data Studio, track web performance with Google Analytics, and collaborate with readership, ads, and subscriptions teams. Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years in data roles preferred.

Qualifications

Fresh graduates welcome to apply with 1–2 years of experience in Commercial Data or Web Analytics.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is a must.
Hands-on experience with Google Data Studio and Google Analytics.
Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Sales Analytics, SQL, or Marketing Automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop dashboards and reports to support commercial decisions.
Translate data into actionable insights for business units.
Monitor website performance and identify user trends using Google Analytics.
Collaborate with readership, ads, and subscriptions teams on ad-hoc analyses and timelines.
