Job summary

Bell Ward Malaysia is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our growing technology team in Selangor. You will analyse business data, build predictive models, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations for stakeholders.

You will work with AI/ML squads to deploy models, develop dashboards, and ensure data quality and governance across analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Business Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, ML and statistical modelling.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and exposure to Power BI is preferred.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Python, SQL, machine learning and statistical modelling.
• Experience with Snowflake is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Power BI is preferred; exposure to Power Apps or Power Automate is an added advantage.
• Strong experience working with business stakeholders and translating analytical findings into actionable insights.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of data science projects with minimal supervision.
