Job summary

Entermind AI in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Data Scientist to turn data into actionable insights and scalable AI solutions for real-world business challenges.

You will explore and clean data, build predictive models, and translate findings for senior teams. You’ll design AI/ML use-cases, work with data engineers, and experiment with new architectures to push AI forward.

Collaborate with strategists and designers to weave models into customer experiences and build reusable, ethical AI frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional data science experience.
• Strong Python and data analysis skills.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.

Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Experience with machine learning techniques (classification, regression, clustering, etc.).
• Exposure to Generative AI concepts and fine-tuning of LLMs is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and version control (Git).
• Understanding of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).

Additional Skills

• Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams with engineers, designers and business leaders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Curiosity to explore, willingness to learn and openness to experiment
• Good communication skills to explain data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
