Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI role.

• Proficient in Python and libraries (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, NumPy).
• Experience in building and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining data pipelines for quality and accessibility.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, deep learning, and NLP.
• Familiarity with SQL and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.

We are looking for Data Scientists at the Manager or Senior Manager level to join the AI & Data team in our Malaysia office. This is a full‑time position.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists and AI specialists across both technical and business workstreams
• Define project objectives, establish timelines, and manage end‑to‑end delivery of AI and data science solutions
• Engage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and provide regular updates

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI role
• Proven experience in leading AI teams and delivering impactful AI or analytics projects
• Strong AI expertise; PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferable
• Proficient in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, NumPy)
• Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments

• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and cloud‑based data architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure)

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Consulting experience, including direct client engagement and project leadership
• Experience with NLP libraries, frameworks, and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Exposure to end‑to‑end project delivery in Agile, SDLC, or hybrid methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge or background in data engineering is a plus
