MICRON MEMORY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience to design computer vision systems and DL models for object detection, segmentation, and anomaly detection.

The role includes deploying end-to-end AI solutions, applying few-shot learning and multimodal fusion, and collaborating across engineering, operations, and quality teams. You will work with Python, SQL, and C++, deploy on cloud platforms like GCP, and contribute to data-driven product improvements

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science with minimum of 3 years of data science experience.
• Foundation in statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and modern ML techniques.
• Experience in semiconductor yield analysis and process optimization (e.g., analyzing FDC, SPC, Probe data).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in computer vision and deep learning in image analytics with good understanding of image processing techniques.
• Experience deploying end-to-end production grade AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with web development such as Angular, FastAPI, Docker.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in SQL, C++.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement computer vision systems and deep learning models for object detection, image segmentation, anomaly detection, and automated inspection.
• Apply advanced AI techniques including few-shot learning, generative AI, and multimodal fusion to solve manufacturing and environmental monitoring challenges.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams, including project management and training engineers in data science tools.
• Architect methods to consolidate and analyze unstructured big data sources for actionable product insights.
• Interact with product and service teams to identify questions and run data analysis experiments.
• Deploy data science models and lead end-to-end lifecycle including design, development, deployment, maintenance and monitoring.
• Identify insights from large data sources; communicate findings to product, service and business managers.

Design and implement computer vision systems and deep learning models for object detection, image segmentation, anomaly detection, and automated inspection. Apply advanced AI techniques including few-shot learning, generative AI, and multimodal fusion to solve manufacturing and environmental monitoring challenges. Deploy data science models and lead the end-to-end life cycle, including solution design, development, deployment, model maintenance and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement computer vision systems and deep learning models for object detection, image segmentation, anomaly detection, and automated inspection, including experience with cameras and vision inspection systems

Apply advanced AI techniques including few-shot learning, generative AI, and multimodal fusion (text, image, time-series) to solve manufacturing and environmental monitoring challenges

Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams, including experience in project management, technical writing, and training/mentoring engineers in data science tools

Design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for product improvement

Interact with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments

Deploy data science models and lead the end-to-end life cycle, including solution design, development, deployment, model maintenance and monitoring

Identify relevant insights from large data and metadata sources; interpret and communicate insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers

About you

Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science with minimum of 3 years of data science experience

Foundation in statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and modern machine learning techniques

Experience in semiconductor yield analysis and process optimization (e.g analyzing FDC, SPC, Probe data)

Minimum of 3 years experience in computer vision and deep learning in image analytics with good understanding of image processing techniques

Experience in deploying end-to-end production grade AI solution in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Proficiency with web development such as Angular, FastAPI, Docker

Strong proficiency in Python, with minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in SQL, C++

Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences
