Job summary

DKSH is seeking an Intern, Data Science to support the ITA team in driving data-driven initiatives across multiple business units. You will help with data collection, model development, and creating visualizations for business stakeholders.

The role offers exposure to real-world data science projects, collaboration across teams, and opportunities to grow technical and professional skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in data science, CS, stats or math.
• Familiarity with Python and data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib).
• Familiarity with PySpark; Databricks is a plus.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data querying.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation across sources for analysis.
• Support model development, validation, and monitoring using ML techniques.
• Build visualizations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
• Explore new data sources and contribute to use-case ideation.
• Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to support analytics initiatives.
• Document work to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
