Job summary

Singtel Group's Sudong Data Protection Officer (DPO) role anchors privacy governance for the Sudong entity in Kuala Lumpur, ensuring governance, policy development, and regulatory compliance with MY PDPA and related privacy requirements.

Reporting to the GBS KL Site Lead, the DPO collaborates with the Singtel Group DPO and Group Privacy Offices to safeguard personal data across GBS processes and vendor engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Professional certifications in data privacy, information security, risk, or compliance preferred (CIPP/A/E, CISSP, CISM).
• Experience in privacy governance or PDPA is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Sudong's compliance with MY PDPA and privacy requirements.
• Develop and roll out privacy policies, procedures and guidance.
• Manage DPIA process and review privacy risks in new projects.
• Oversee data breach management and regulatory notifications.
• Handle data subject rights and third-party privacy risk assessments.
• Monitor compliance and deliver privacy training across GBS.
