DKSH Management Ltd. is seeking a Specialist, Data Intelligence in Malaysia to develop and deploy ML models, AI-powered applications, and predictive solutions across markets.

You will bridge data science with business outcomes, enabling smarter, data-driven decisions at scale. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, delivering measurable results, and contributing to GenAI projects while ensuring governance and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 0 to 5 years of experience in Data Science, ML, Analytics, or related field; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and model development.
• Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM.
• Strong data manipulation with Pandas and NumPy; solid stats knowledge.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization.
• Familiarity with Git for collaborative development.
• Exposure to Databricks, PySpark, MLflow, or Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker is a plus.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering is a bonus.
• Understanding of LP/MIP optimization is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Clear communicator; able to engage tech and business stakeholders.
• Curious, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy ML models addressing real business challenges.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering on large datasets.
• Build predictive models using statistical and ML techniques.
• Develop optimization models to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor model performance and retrain as needed.
• Contribute to AI and GenAI initiatives, incl. LLM-based apps.
• Partner with data engineers to productionize models and automate pipelines.
• Uphold data science governance and documentation.
