Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad seeks a detail-oriented data professional to support the Group Sustainability team, building and digitizing internal databases across health and safety, supply chain, and community investment initiatives.

You will automate data templates and dashboards, maintain digital solutions, and assist in sustainability reporting and disclosures, including familiarity with GRI, SASB, SDGs, TCFD and IFRS Sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Engineering or Sustainability is required or fresh graduates welcome
• Experience in data projects/databases and interest in digital transformation or process improvement
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB, SDGs, TCFD, IFRS Sustainability) is a plus
• Familiar or quick to learn ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to learn and work independently
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office; good interpersonal and written communication skills
• Team player with enthusiasm and willingness to go beyond

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support our Group Sustainability team. In this role, you will assist in building and digitalizing internal system databases across health and safety, supply chain, and community investment initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Liaise and communicate with business divisions to automate and optimize data templates, workflow, dashboards and manage sustainability data tracking and monitoring for reporting needs

Maintain and enhance digital solutions to ensure timely collation and analysis of key sustainability data based on material ESG disclosures

Support the implementation of Group Sustainability strategies, goals and targets through internal sustainability related workshops and trainings to build knowledge on sustainability related topics amongst internal employees and relevant stakeholders

Support the preparation of annual sustainability reporting (Sustainability Statement), presentation and other sustainability related documents; familiarity with sustainability reporting standards such as GRI Standards, SASB, SDGs, TCFD, IFRS Sustainability will be an added advantage

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Data Engineering or Sustainability. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Experience in data related projects/ databases and keen interest in digital transformation or process improvement

Well versed in data analytic tools and familiarity with sustainability reporting standards such as GRI Standards, SASB, SDGs, TCFD, IFRS Sustainability will be an added advantage, but not a strict requirement

Familiar or quick to learn on data cleaning and extract, transform, load (ETL) processes

Good analytical, problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and work independently

Good computer literacy, highly proficient with computers /Microsoft Office

Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
