Job summary

IDC is seeking an Event Specialist | Attendee Acquisition to drive the company’s event audience strategy through data-led recruitment, end-to-end event execution, and stakeholder engagement.

You will manage multi-channel campaigns, oversee data accuracy, coordinate with marketing and operations, and report on recruitment metrics while ensuring privacy standards.

The role offers Hybrid work, travel up to 40% for on-site events, and the chance to influence global technology events at IDC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
• 1–3 years in event marketing, audience recruitment, or delegate acquisition.
• Experience executing multi-channel attendee recruitment campaigns (email, telemarketing, digital).
• Hands-on with CRM tools such as Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication, especially with senior speakers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete attendee recruitment lifecycle from strategy to outreach, conversion, and onsite engagement.
• Oversee data accuracy, segmentation, and audience insights to improve recruitment quality.
• Lead outreach campaigns targeting senior IT and business decision-makers across industries.
• Recruit and manage advisory council members and end-user speakers, ensuring diversity and leadership alignment.
• Identify and grow audience segments through digital and direct channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and operations to align messaging and timelines.
• Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to optimize ROI.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
