Job summary

Bridge Data Centres Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer to lead the detailed design for multiple data centre projects across regional metros. You will manage 10+ years of experience, supervise MEP activities, and ensure designs meet climate, sustainability, and build-to-suit requirements.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, energy modeling, and coordination with vendors. Travel to project sites is expected as needed to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• PE with practicing certificate in ACMV and Fire Protection.
• 10+ years in Data Centre detail design and 5+ years as principal engineer/MEP manager.
• Experience in mechanical studies: air flow modeling, heat load calculations, CFD, hot air re-entrainment and related simulations.
• Fluent English and Mandarin for liaison with regional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Attend technical interviews with clients and vendors.
• Develop tender and construction drawings and draft tender specifications.
• Conduct technical evaluations and provide design variations (30%–90%).
• Hand over to construction and operation teams with problem solving.
• Review equipment specs and construction drawings to ensure coordinated, code-compliant design.
