Job summary

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading data centre engineering and construction company to hire an ELV Engineer in Banting, Selangor. The role focuses on managing low-voltage electrical activities across the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams to meet technical, safety, schedule, and cost targets on large-scale data centre projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant low-voltage electrical construction/engineering experience.
• Experience in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage low-voltage electrical engineering and construction activities from pre-construction through project close-out.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, subcontractor SOWs, method statements, construction plans, drawings, BOQs, material lists, and technical submissions.
• Develop construction schedules, look-ahead plans, manpower plans, and material/equipment mobilisation plans while managing project risks.
• Supervise on-site low-voltage electrical works and coordinate technical and construction matters with clients, consultants, subcontractors, M&E teams, EHS, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning preparation, documentation, training, material inventory, handover, and project close-out activities.
