Job description

Minimum qualifications

• Experience with performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment.
• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.
• Experience with networking protocols.
• Ability to lift/move 50lb (23kg) of equipment and exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting.
• Ability to work non‑standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift‑based schedules as required.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in maintenance of server systems.
• Experience working within a data center or network operation center environment.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and network issues using Linux tools.
• Networking knowledge, including topology and protocol understanding.
• Strong people and communication skills, including ability to communicate in English fluently with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center infrastructure.
• Learn and apply skills in repairing and troubleshooting different machine platforms.
• Participate in complex troubleshooting and resolve critical technical issues.
• Test and troubleshoot new server and network hardware components and designs.
• Install and maintain switches, routers, and other large‑scale networking gear. Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS‑related issues.
