Job summary

ByteBridge Technology SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Data Center Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end procurement for data center projects, sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing, issuing POs, and ensuring timely delivery of electrical, mechanical, and data center materials to support project schedules.

The role requires 5–8 years of procurement experience in data center or MEP/MEP construction sectors, strong supplier management, and familiarity with Malaysian supplier

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of procurement experience in data center, MEP/MEP construction, infra or engineering procurement.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and data center infrastructure materials.
• Proven ability to source suppliers and manage pricing, terms and delivery.
• Experience with logistics and import procedures is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, written and spoken, for regional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage full procurement cycle from requisition review to PO issuance and order tracking.
• Source data center materials: electrical, cabinet/rack, cooling, construction supplies.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify local and overseas suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and other terms.
• Coordinate with Projects, Construction and Logistics to meet material timelines.
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve delays or shortages.
