Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a proactive Project Planner to support projects, managed services and networking for world-class IT infrastructure solutions. You will work with design and site planning teams to ensure plans cover delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, coordinating resources, and maintaining detailed project schedules for data cabling installations across APAC and beyond.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of commercial and contractual interfaces with planning.
• Experience with planning techniques for tendering and contract delivery.
• Experience in infrastructure planning in data cabling
• Strong understanding of data centres and network infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or similar planning tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans for data cabling installations.
• Coordinate procurement scheduling to maintain critical path.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Work with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope, timelines, and resources.
• Attend project kick-off meetings and site visits.
• Monitor hours and costs to forecast trends and budget usage.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and client specs.
• Coordinate review of estimated design costs including equipment, installation, labour, and materials.
