Job summary

Oracle in India is seeking a Data Center Site Lead who will own all aspects of data center critical operations, coordinating with colo providers and internal teams to ensure 24x7 availability and compliance with security policies. The role covers incident, change, and risk management, build-to-operations handover, and leadership of technicians and engineers, with scope for occasional outside-hours support.

Qualifications

• Audit and compliance discipline within data center operations.
• Experience with colo environments and critical facilities.
• Understanding of cooling, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Process discipline — SOP/MOP/EOP/SOO, change control, incident review, risk tracking.
• Technical expertise in mechanical/electrical/thermal systems, or project management.
• Enforce data center security practices and access controls.
• Oversee 24x7 operations, shift planning, business continuity, escalation.
• Collaborate with colo, DCFE, design, NW, security and stakeholders on governance.
• Lead incidents, changes and problems; drive corrective actions and best practices.
• Support build-to-operations handover and operational readiness reviews.
• Mentor data center technicians and engineers; promote ownership at site level.
• Provide regular reporting, audits, and status updates on performance and compliance.
• Exposure to liquid cooling/TCS loop and high-density deployments is a plus.
